Simply stunning Indian Wedding of Kavya & Rikesh. When I first saw a couple of these images pop up on Instagram I literally could not wait to see more!
This is a wedding full of love, colour, creativity, and a bloggers dream…the couple are so photogenic and the photographer is Alexa Penberthy who travels the world capturing these moments of love, so these images are truly something special.
I’m still trying ot work out which is my favourite and I think I’ve finally decided – its the one of the couple in the fields, harvesting and a setting sun, just them in nature, the love and colour shining through the warm light. When couples come and visit, I always say, take some photos in the fields. Go off together and be alone for a while. I think at first they think I’m crazy until you see the rural countryside that surrounds us here at Poundon House, and you can’t help but love it. It really is the most stunning backdrop as there is nothing that takes your eye away from the people.
Their wedding day consisted of the Mandap Blessing on the lower lawns followed by an evening reception at the marquee. You can see more info on Rikesh’s wedding outfits here on our blog and there is more on the reception outfit to come.
Here is Kavya and Rikesh’s wedding in their own words:-
On Friday 22nd June, 2018, Kavya & I got married at a beautiful location in Oxfordshire, Poundon House. It was a day full of colour, festivity, music and excitement. We asked the wonderfully talented Alexa Penberthy to capture the day, and she did so immaculately. Take a look at some of our personal favourites below. You can also browse the #KavyaRicky2018 hashtag on Instagram.
