Rock My Wedding blog is one of our favourite wedding blogs, so I was delighted when I saw one of our July 2016 couples, Amruta and Aneesh wedding feature there. Their wedding photographer Matt Penberthy really captured their day beautifully. Matt is a destination photographer, so for him this was just down the road as he lives in London. Also, I love his photo’s of the gardens and the nature that surrounds the house.
Amruta discovered Poundon House through her bridesmaid who had wanted to hold her wedding here with us but our capacity wasn’t large enough for her wedding. But, we were perfect for Amruta and Aneesh’s wedding guest list of 300 guests!
Rock My Wedding says
‘Amruta and Aneesh held their gorgeous, vibrant wedding at Poundon House in Oxfordshire, a venue that really does have it all. A beautiful house in which to get ready, stunning gardens that can be used for your wedding ceremony (like this gorgeous pair did) and lots of space for a marquee.
Amruta had two outfits for the day, her gorgeous traditional ceremony outfit and then a fabulous pinky coral sari for the reception – she looks breathtaking in both. The henna designs she’s sporting are incredible too, some of the loveliest henna work I’ve seen!’ – Their wedding can be seen here on the Rock My Wedding blog.
I agree that Amruta’s henna is really beautiful and such skill is involved.
I love the outfits too, so colourful, and must have been fun shopping in India! The flowers on the mandap are by Love From Katie – simple carnations which frame the mandap, from The London Chuppah House, beautifully.
