Poundon House has featured in national magazines and has an interesting history during the Second World War, when it was used by The Post Office to help break the Enigma code. Many country houses were used for this, the most famous being Bletchley Park which isn’t too far. Our great aunt was stationed at Bletchley Park and only recenlty is more information about the role of these country houses becoming public. When our parents brought the house from the Post Office, there were nissan huts in the grounds, generators, fire places boarded up. Much work has gone into the house to restore it to its origanl beauty.

We have kept the interior designed in keeping with the style of the house. It is classic and comfortable. Welcoming and homely yet spacious and impressive. It is still very much a family home, and for your wedding, it will be your home…

Our family have a keen interest in interior design and the rooms show this through their beautiful design.
