As each wedding here at Poundon is different, please talk to us about your ideas for your day and we can then discuss costs. Our costs are always based on exclusive use and start from £6000 inc. VAT. This includes exclusive use of the 3 Reception rooms the Terrace Marquee, and the use of our fully equipped bespoke Reception Marquee with its stunning Indian hand printed lining, bar area and new sitting room space.
It comes with carpet, tables, chairs, dance-floor and staging for a band. Alternatively we can section areas off with lining so the dance-floor can be hidden while guests enjoy the Wedding Breakfast.
As a venue we do not charge a corkage fee so you are welcome to bring your own drinks and caterers.
On the lawn outside, couples in the past have had giant games, bouncy castles, mini golf set up for children (and adults!) bbq’s….or just a lovely place to catch up with friends and family and enjoy a summer’s evening
It also has drainage, heating and several French doors leading out onto the lawn, so whatever the weather, the marquee is well prepared. There is a pavilion with toilets – no portoloos to have to deal with!
There is also a catering area (please note additional costs for outside caterers that include equipment) so everything is set up so you have one less thing to worry about.
Intimate Weddings at Poundon House
We can do a wonderful wedding for the smaller wedding party. With guest numbers up to 60, you exclusively can use the three main reception rooms and terrace. With a ceremony in the Yellow room, reception drinks in the Drawing room and a wedding breakfast in the Dining room, it is truly a wonderful family gathering, using the house exactly as it was originally designed for….. entertaining and celebrations!
For Intimate Weddings, you are obliged to work with our recommended caterers, with venue prices starting from £130 per head inclusive of catering.
