As each wedding here at Poundon is different, please talk to us about your ideas for your day and we can then discuss costs. Our prices are always based on exclusive use and start from £6000 inc. VAT. This includes use of the three Reception rooms and the Terrace Marquee, the use of our fully equipped bespoke Reception Pavilion with its stunning Indian hand printed lining, bar area and new sitting room space.

Here is some further information about what we offer at Poundon House:

The Reception Pavilion comes with carpet, tables, chairs, dance-floor and staging for a band. Alternatively we can section areas off with lining so the dance-floor can be hidden while guests enjoy the Wedding Breakfast.

As a venue we do not charge a corkage fee so you are welcome to bring your own drinks and caterers.

In the past couples have used the marquee lawns to enjoy giant games, bouncy castles, mini golf set up for children (and adults!) or just a lovely place to catch up with friends and family and savour a summer’s evening. There is a pavilion with toilets – no portaloos to have to deal with!

There is also a catering area (please note additional costs for outside caterers that include equipment) so once everything is set up you have one less thing to worry about.

Intimate Weddings at Poundon House

We can do a wonderful wedding for the smaller wedding party at Poundon House. For up to 60 guests, you have exclusive use of the three main reception rooms and terrace. With a ceremony in the Yellow room, reception drinks in the Drawing room and a wedding breakfast in the Dining room, it is truly a wonderful family gathering, using the house exactly as it was originally designed for….. entertaining and celebrations!

For Intimate Weddings, you are obliged to work with our recommended caterers, with venue prices starting from £130 per head inclusive of catering.
